The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing build/bug tracking systems, bringing in to the company best in class tools to support a high velocity software development team that uses continuous integration and agile processes to develop software to meet or exceed the customer's needs in the Cable TV industry.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as Tools Engineer technical lead and core team member for the design and development of products.

Ability to design and develop software based on requirements specifications.

Perform feasibility studies on new technology and product concepts and manage the risk mitigation upon using such technology.

Interface with other divisional departments to enable accomplishment of divisional and new product development objectives.

Generate required product development documentation including, but not limited to, functional specifications and detailed design documents.

Independently resolve technical problems, initiating design changes and providing engineering support to assess customer needs and solve field issues.

Communicate project status, issues, and requirements both verbally and in writing.

Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations if necessary.

Perform other duties as required.
