POSITION
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the HIM Coding Manager will be responsible for general supervision of daily operational functions for the outpatient coding staff in the Health Information Management Department. This will include assisting with staff scheduling, prioritizing the daily workflow, supervising performance and staff development. Position will act as a department resource on documentation and billing requirements and coding. Will perform quality audits to ensure accuracy of coding and reduce the risk of noncompliance with third party payer requirements. Will assist in the development and updating of procedures related to the coding area. Coordinate compliance/education initiatives with other departments as needed.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
CCS Preferred
Supervisory Experience Preferred
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Must have ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated, proactive in communicating progress and issues
Must be able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize workloadEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
